The Aurora University women's volleyball team played their second of three-straight home NACC matches, this time squaring off against the Muskies of Lakeland University for Saturday afternoon's Dig Pink match with the Joliet Area Chapter of Pink Heels in attendance with their Pink Pierce Fire Engine Michelle. It took just three sets for AU to pickup the victory over Lakeland (25-16, 27-25, 25-17) as the win moves them back over the .500 mark at 10-9 on the season.

- AU was able to advantage of some early Lakeland errors to get out to a 10-6 opening set lead.

Kate Poellmann hammered home three kills during that span.
- Three-straight kills from Poellmann later in the set drove the Spartans to a commanding 20-11 lead.
- The Spartans wound up winning the first set 25-16 while hitting .485 during the frame.
- Despite facing their largest deficit of the day during second set at 19-13, AU would storm back to win 27-25.

Kate Dillon each had five kills for AU in the second frame.
- AU kept the momentum rolling into the third set when they got out to a 6-2 lead following a couple of
Trinity Nelson aces.

Hannah Joseph picked up back-to-back aces of her own later in the set to keep the Spartans ahead 15-9.
- This helped AU cruise to the 25-17 third set win and 3-0 match victory.
