The Aurora University men's soccer team traveled to Edgewood College on Wednesday night for another Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference matchup. Despite two goals from
Branden Dolezal, the Spartans fell to the Eagles by a score of 4-2.

- AU didn't waste any time at all to testing the Edgewood goalkeeper as
Josue Roman put a shot on goal in the first minute, but couldn't give the Spartans the early lead.
- The Eagles scored the match's first goal in the 26th minute.

Branden Dolezal answered back less than a minute later when he struck one over Eagle goalie to tie the match at one. Dolezal was assisted by Roman on the score.
- Edgewood scored a goal in both the 37th and 38th minute to send the Spartans to a 3-1 deficit.
- That 3-1 score would hold going into the halftime break.
- The Spartans fell behind 4-1 early in the second half after an Eagles goal in the 51st minute.
- AU did show fight later in the half when Dolezal netted his second goal of the game off an assist from
Adrian Maldonado.
- That was as close as the Spartans would come as they ended up falling 4-2.
