The Aurora University men's hockey team was back on the ice Friday night, this time at Adrian College against the No. 2 Bulldogs. The No.11 Spartans used three goals in the third period, including two from
Landry Schmuck, to cruise past Adrian 4-1.

- At the 7:00 minute mark of the first period, AU took an early lead off a goal from
Jakson Kirk. He was assisted by
Lukas Sedlacek and
Simon Diaz to get the Spartans out to the early lead.
- The Spartans carried this 1-0 lead into the first intermission.
- Adrian tied the game late in the second while the Spartans were on the kill, tying the score at one.
- The score remained 1-1 going into the third period.
- AU started its third period scoring barrage at the 2:25 mark of the third period when
Landry Schmuck lit the lamp. Diaz picked up his second assist while

Andrew Schultz was also credited with an assist on Schmuck's first score.
- At 14:32, Schmuck struck again when AU had a 2-on-1 opportunity.
Hassan Akl teamed up with Schmuck to give the Spartans the 3-1 lead.
- The Spartans added one more with two minutes left on an empty netter when Kirk scored with AU on the power play. Sedlaceck was credited with his second assist on Kirk's score.
- This helped give AU the 4-1 win on Friday night.
