The Aurora University women's hockey team continued NCHA play on Friday afternoon with a showdown against Bulldogs of Adrian College, who currently sit at fourth in the latest USCHO Division III Women's Poll. AU took an early lead in the first period after Makenna Brownlee struck for a goal, but eventually fell to Adrian 4-1.

- AU secured a power play at the 13:45 point of the first period and took all but six seconds to find the back of the net.
- Makenna Brownlee netted a goal off assist from Peyton Elliott and Samir Schmidt.
- With about three seconds left in the period, Adrian tied the score at one going into the second period.
- The Spartans killed off an Adrian power play in the middle of second frame to keep the score locked at one.
- The Bulldogs scored with just under three minutes left in the second for a 2-1 lead.
- That 2-1 score would going into the second intermission.
- Despite Adrian taking the lead in the second, AU goalie Zoie Campbell came up with 22 saves in the period.
- The Bulldogs scored two goals early in the third to give AU a 4-1 deficit.
- AU would eventually fall by this 4-1 score.
- Campbell would end up finishing with 54 saves in-net for the Spartans.
