- The Spartans took the opening kickoff and in five plays marched 60-yards in 2:13 to take the early 7-0 lead.

- In a sign for the rest of the game, the Spartan defense forced a punt while holding Eureka to minus seven yards in three plays.
- Adkins connected with
Ty Pruett four plays later on a 21-yard pass play but after a missed PAT, AU led 13-0.
- The next Eureka drive went for negative 19 yards with the Spartans getting the ball back on an Eddie Ortiz interception.

JP Chaney intercepted a pass in the Eureka end zone for another AU defensive touchdown this season. The second of the year from a defensive lineman.
- AU led 40-0 going to halftime with the defense limiting Eureka to three yards of offense in the first-half.
- The Spartans would produce the only score of the third quarter on a Sterling Williams Jr rushing touchdown.
- After three quarters, AU led 47-0 while the defensive yardage count hit negative totals at minus 10.

Liam Mickle scored on a one-yard rush for a 54-0 AU lead.
