Spartans wrangle Red Devils in dual meet

The Aurora University Spartans men's wrestling team celebrated senior night in the final dual meet of the 2024 portion of the schedule and did so in a dominating fashion, defeatnig the visiting Red Devils of Eureka College 45-10.

How it happened
- AU jumped ahead quickly with Tyler Evitts securing six points in a fall (1:59) at 125.
- Carlos Munoz-Flores secured six more points with an injury forfeit.
- Eureka won the next two matches to score 10 points and cut the AU lead down to 12-10.
- Senior Austin Abitua got the Spartans rolling again in his match-up, winning by tech fall (21-6).
- Austin Martin followed with a 21-2 tech fall and AU now led 22-10.
- Senior Manny Diaz won by forfeit to add to the AU lead with it now being 28-10.
- Randy Manos got the home crowd going with his 18-3 tech fall win at 184 pounds.
- Alton Mullinax secured six more AU points with a fall (1:23).
- Senior Cam'ron Harper needed 1:25 to secure six points and a fall to round out the matches.
- AU was victorious 45-10.
