Aurora University Spartan women's wrestler Lexi Janiak earned the Dan Gable Women's Outstanding Wrestler at the 2024 Ken Kraft Midlands Women's Championships at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Fueled by the dominance of Janiak in the 131 bracket, the Spartans finished sixth with 51.5 points.

- She won by a fall, tech fall and a pair of decisions including a 4-3 win in the Championship match.
- Genesis Ramirez finished fourth at 103. She secured 15.5 team points with a 4-2 mark on the day.
- Mackenzie Konanz finished fourth at 180, securing 13.3 points. She went 2-2 with a bye on the day.


Next action for the Spartan women's wrestling team comes on Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 11 when they travel to the NWCA Division III National Dual-Team Invitational. The National Duals are hosted in Cedar Falls, Iowa at the University of Northern Iowa Dome.
