The Aurora University men's volleyball team split a pair of matches at North Park University on Saturday, losing to Wittenberg University 3-1 before knocking off the host Vikings 3-0.

MATCH TWO: Aurora University 3, North Park University 0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-22)

MATCH ONE
- The Spartans led nearly the entire first set until surrendering the lead at 25-24 before falling 26-24.
- The second set saw an early AU lead before a 25-15 set loss and trailed 2-0 in the match.
- The third set had the Spartans trail early before going on to win 25-16.
- Josh McLellan had nine kills in the set win.
- The fourth set was closely played but the Spartans narrowly fell 25-22 and lost the match 3-1.

MATCH TWO
- AU trailed 8-6 in the opening set but a 7-2 scoring run helped the Spartans pull away and go on to win 25-18.
- The Spartans hit .357 in the set with Ryder Kelley dishing out nine assists.
- Five McLellan kills in the second set led AU to a 25-21 win and a 2-0 match lead.
- AU would never trail in the third set and went on to win 25-22 and win the match 3-0.
- Six different Spartans collected a kill while Kelley had 14 assists.
