The Aurora University men's volleyball team took to Lancaster Court on Friday night for their first home match in nearly a month, squaring off against the Purple Raiders of University of Mount Union. While each set came down to the wire, the Spartans swept the match for a 3-0 victory.

Mateo Scharosch aces gave AU its first lead at 9-7.
- The Spartans found themselves down again later in the set 23-19, but a 5-0 scoring route put AU in front again 24-23.

Luke Dwyer sealed the deal for a 27-25 AU opening set victory.
- Scharosch led the Spartans with six kills while McLellan picked up five.
- Halfway through the second set, AU trailed the Raiders 13-12.
- With each side knotted up at 23, AU came out of a timeout with couple of kills from Scharosch to take the 25-23 set victory.
