The Aurora University men's volleyball team hosted the Stars of Dominican University in Thursday night #NACCtion on Lancaster Court in Thornton Gymnasium. Five thrilling sets of volleyball followed with the Spartans falling 3-2 despite 32 kills from sophomore outside

- The Spartans trailed for most of the first set and rallied late bu would fall 25-19.

Josh McLellan led all attackers with six first set kills. The six were just the start of his night.
- AU led early in the second set but a couple attack errors allowed Dominican to win 25-22 and take a 2-0 match lead.
- McLellan hit .500 in the second set with seven kills.
- The third set saw AU jump out to an early lead and force a Dominican timeout at 6-3.
- AU continued to put the pressure on the Stars and won handily, 25-16.

Ryder Kelley dished out nine assists as the Spartans hit .500 as a team.
- The fourth set was again all Spartans with the hosts knotting the match 2-2 with a 25-20 win.
- McLellan had nine kills with Kelley having 12 assists.
- AU looked to seal the comeback win with a fifth set.
- Dominican led early and despite the Spartans pulling to within one on several occasions including 13-12, AU would fall 15-12.
- Six more kills in the fifth set for McLellan gave him 32 on the night.
- McLellan finished the night with a .394 attack percentage as the Spartans out-hit Dominican 304 to 290.
