The Aurora University women's hockey team took on their namesakes from the University of Dubuque in a Monday afternoon battle at Fox Valley Ice Arena. The AU Spartans claimed victory in a 5-0 shutout win.

- AU had to fend off three penalties in the first 10 minutes of the first period.
- With 9:07 left in the opening period,
Julianna Gallenero scored what would stand up as the game-winning goal. She was assisted by
Peyton Elliott and
Emiliana Cassillo.

Shelbi Duster stopped the three shots in the period sent her way as AU led 1-0 going to intermission.
- A three goal second period got started with an early power play goal from
Stephanie Schmunk. Elliott and
Rachel Campoli assisted on the play.
- Even strength goals from
Ellie Visser (unassisted) and
Cara Cook (
Ava Eid) to put AU up 4-0.
- Schmunk rounded out the scoring early in the third with an assist from
Molly Matson as AU would coast to a 5-0 victory.
- Duster earned the shutout win with 10 saves in net.
