The Aurora University women's lacrosse team returned home ro Spartan Athletic Park against Lake Forest College. The Spartans battled with the Foresters but would fall 14-11.

- The Spartans jumped out to a 1-0 lead 46 seconds into the game with a goal from
Caley Russell.
Danielle Cobbett assisted on the first of her six on the game.
- AU and LFC would trade goals in the period with
Sydney Mann and
Brianna Peck scoring on assists from Cobbett.
- After one quarter, AU led 3-2.
- After LFC took a 4-3 lead, Peck scored a power play goal to tie the game 4-4.
- Trailing 6-4,
Kenly Axvig scored on the power play with 2:57 left in the half.
- Peck then scored her second of the game with 1:10 left to tie the game at six.
- The teams went to halftime tied 6-6.
- Power play goals from Cobbett and Peck in the third fueled the AU scoring but LFC out-scored AU 5-3.
- The third AU goal in the third period came from Peck, her fifth of the day.
- AU trailed 11-9 after three periods.
- The Spartans kept the game within two on goals from Axvig and Mann.
- Lake Forest had enough to keep the Spartans at bay and defeated AU 14-11.
