The Aurora University softball team saw their winning streak reach nine games after a pair of victories over the Bluejays of Elmhurst University on Saturday afternoon at Bedrosian Field. AU saw their run total reach double digits in both games, beating the Bluejays 10-2 in a five inning game one and then 11-3 in a six inning game two.

GAME ONE:
- AU got to work right away in the first when Alex Thiel laced a two-run triple into the right center gap that scored Faith Biggs and Tyler Chambers.'
- It quickly became 3-0 on a Kionna King ground out that brought home Thiel.
- Jordan Seyfried put the Spartans in front 5-0 in the first with a two-run double that scored Casey Brennan and Makayla Reyes.
- Elmhurst scored two runs in the third to trim AU's lead to 5-2.
- The Spartans got those two back in the bottom half of the inning on a bases loaded walk and Chambers sac-fly.
- Chambers would later strike again with a two-run double in fifth that scored Biggs and Aubrey Ortiz, giving AU a 9-2 lead.
- Thiel then brought Chambers home with a two bagger of her own.
- This gave the Spartans the 10-2 victory in five innings.

GAME TWO:
- Elmhurst scored one in the first inning for the early lead.
- AU answered back with two in the second on an Emma Lytton RBI single and Alyson Haegele RBI double.
- The Bluejays tied the game at two in the fourth inning.
- The Spartans quickly regained the bottom half of the inning starting with an Ortiz RBI single that scored Lily Komperda.
- It then became 5-2 on a Chambers two-run single that brought Haegele and Ortiz around to score.
- AU tacked on one more in the fourth on a King sac-fly.
- The Spartans scored one in the fifth when Brennan scored off an error that made it 7-2.
- After Elmhurst scored one in the top-of-the sixth, the Spartans stormed back for four in their half of the sixth.
- Lytton hit a two-run single and Kayla Korey had a run scoring single of her own.
- This gave AU the 11-3 victory in six innings.
