The Aurora University women's lacrosse team followed up their double overtime victory last Saturday with another win, this time a 15-10 victory over the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Eagles.
Kenly Axvig led AU with four goals in the game, while
Brianna Peck scored three of her own for AU's third victory of the season.

Danielle Cobbett got AU on the board right away with her 14th goal of the season giving Spartans the early 1-0 lead.
- After an Eagles goal that tied the score at 1,
Sydney Mann found
Brianna Peck as AU regained a 2-1 lead with 6:54 left in the first quarter.

Kenly Axvig got free position with 3:48 to go in the first and converted the woman-up goal for AU, giving them a 3-2 lead.

Kielly Reeve followed the Axvig goal with her second goal of the season, moving the AU lead to 4-2.
- The Eagles scored two goals to tie the score at 4 heading into the second quarter.
- AU regained their 6-5 advantage after Axvig converted back-to-back goals with the second of the two coming halfway through the second quarter.
- About four minutes later, Reeve increased the AU lead to 7-5 after finding the back of the net. Reeve was assisted by
Caley Russell.
- The Spartans took this 7-5 lead into the halftime locker room.
- It took less than three minutes for AU to get back into the scoring column as
Sydney Mann made it 8-5 after scoring off an Axvig assist.
- Peck scored a woman-up goal with 8:54 left in the third quarter, her second of the game. This increased the Spartan lead to 9-6.
- About six minutes later,
Taylor Janssen got in on the scoring fun off a set-up from
Grace Pelletier.
- Right before the third quarter buzzer,
Nicolina Smith found Mann for her second goal of the game. This made it 11-7 AU heading into the final quarter.
- AU converted two more goals in the beginning of the fourth, from
Caley Russell and Axvig. Axvig's fourth goal gave the Spartans a 13-7 lead.
- Russell was on the assisting end of the next AU goal, helping Peck convert a hat trick of her own. This made it 14-8 AU with about five minutes left.
- After an Eagle goal, the Spartans added one more on
Ari Rootberg's first goal of the season.
- The Eagles added one more of their own, but it was not enough in the 15-10 AU victory.
