The Aurora University men's volleyball team had their hands full with the visiting Falcons of Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday night on Lancaster Court in Thornton Gymnasium. The Spartans and Falcons went hit for hit in the five set thriller with the Spartans prevailing 3-2.

- The Spartans trailed from the opening serve in the first set and would fall 25-19.
- AU then jumped out to a 10-4 lead in the second set and continued to hold a commanding lead before tying the match score 1-1 with a 25-19 win.
- Six Spartans collected kills led by four from Connor Carroll in the set win.
- The third set was close early before CUW pulled away to a 15-10 lead.
- AU rallied to tie the score 18-18 but CUW responded and led 22-19.
- An ace from Nathan Anderson tied the score at 23 but CUW would have set point up 24-23 but a service error gave AU life.
- The Spartans would win the third set 26-24 after two attack errors from the Falcons that came on huge blocks from Sebastian Ciszewski and Mateo Scharosch.
- The fourth set was a point for point early before CUW opened up a lead and won 25-20 to send the match to a winner take all fifth.
- The fifth set played out just like the entire match had with both teams having leads early on. 
- Coming out of a timeout, AU trailed 7-5 but would out-score CUW 10-4 to win the fifth set.
- Three huge kills from setter Luke Dwyer including the final point lifted AU to the 15-11 and 3-2 match win.
