The Aurora University men's lacrosse team got back to the field less than 24 hours after a tough home contest with Hope, this time traveling west to Cornell College. 39 Spartans and five goalies played as AU routed the Rams 16-5. AU led 11-0 at halftime and 13-0 into the third before settling for the 16-5 win.

Owen Spencer got the scoring started 59 seconds into the game but the game would remain 1-0 for the nearly 12 minutes.

Conor Bolton and Spencer scored in the final 2:52 of the first quarter to give the Spartans a 4-0 lead after one.
- AU allowed Cornell just one first quarter shot which was off target while Cornell turned the ball over nine times.
- The Spartans got rolling in the second, scoring seven times to take an 11-0 lead to halftime.

Chris Bucci scored the first three goals.
- Three mores goals came over a 1:15 game span with Reilan Pura,
Eli Pangborn and
Carson Leader expanding the lead to 10-0.
- Bucci ended the scoring in the first-half with his second of the period.

Conor Bolton continued the Spartan scoring run early in the third with his second of the game.

Caden Bunes got in on the scoring action with his first collegiate tally.
- With 8:37 remaining in the third, Cornell was able to break up the AU shutout attempt.
- But the Spartan scoring got going again with the first of his career from
Michael Hudik one minute later.

Dylan Kranzush scored to put AU ahead 15-1 with 5:45 remaining in the third and that was the score after 45 minutes.

Brody Gorseth rounded out the Spartan scoring with his first collegiate goal in the fourth.
- AU would come home victorious, winning 16-5.
