The Aurora University men's volleyball team wrapped up the Cal-Lu-Fornia Invitational with a pair of grueling matches, a 3-2 victory over Baldwin Wallace University which was followed immediately by a 3-1 loss to St. John Fisher.

Match One vs Baldwin Wallace
- AU led early in the opening set but BWU would rally and win 25-21.

Josh McLellan had seven kills and hit .500 in the opening set.
- After leading early and BWU taking the lead midway through the set, AU roared back and won 25-22.
- Six Spartans combined to hit .400 in the frame with
Ryder Kelley handing out 10 assists.
- AU would drop the third set 25-23 despite eight kills from McLellan.
- The fourth set was tightly played with the Spartans managing to pull away late and win 25-22 to send the match to a winner take all fifth.

Mateo Scharosch (four kills - .667), McLellan (five kills - .500) and
Sebastian Ciszewski (two kills - .500) carried the offense.
- In the fifth set, AU stormed out to a 4-0 lead but then saw the lead disappear when they trailed 6-5.
- After a timeout, the Spartans out scored BWU 10-2 and won 15-8.
- The Spartans had six assisted blocks and six kills in the winning effort.
Match Two vs St. John Fisher
- Another closely played match was on tap with the first set seeing AU and SJFU each leading by three once.
- AU out lasted the Red birds 27-25 to win the first.

Ryder Kelley had 15 assists to five different Spartans.
- The second set was closely played but this time SJFU would prevail 26-24.

Connor Carroll hammered down seven kills in the second.
- The Spartans led 17-13 in the third set but a string of attack errors proved costly in the 25-21 set defeat.
- Five Spartans collected two or more kills in the third.
- The fourth set was close until the final points with AU falling 25-19.
- AU hit .321 in the set but just ran out of gas late and dropped the match 3-1.
