The Aurora University softball team hit the field for the first time in almost a week on Saturday afternoon to take on the Raiders of Milwaukee School of Engineering on the road. The Spartans won game one by a score of 2-1 behind a dominant performance in the circle from
Rylee Campbell and two-run home run from
Faith Biggs, before beating the Raiders again in game two by a 9-4 margin with
Tyler Chambers and Biggs each collecting three RBI's.

GAME ONE:
- AU threatened with two runners in scoring position in the first, but were unable to scratch a run across.
- In the top of the third,
Faith Biggs launched her 10th home run of the year that made it 2-0 in favor of the Spartans.
- The Raiders scored one run in the bottom of the fifth to trim AU's lead to 2-1.
- In the bottom of the seventh, the Raiders saw a runner on second with only one out.

Rylee Campbell retired the next two Raider batters, stranding the runner on second and securing the 2-1 AU victory.
- Campbell finished with a complete game after only allowing three hits and one run.
GAME TWO:
- AU got the game two scoring started in the top of the third when
Tyler Chambers doubled home
Aubrey Ortiz and
Madison Lung.
- The Spartans quickly stretched their lead to 3-0 when Biggs put down a suicide squeeze bunt that brought Chambers home.
- The Raiders came back with one run in their half of the third to trim the AU lead to 3-1.
- In the bottom of the fourth, the Raiders scored two runs to tie the game at three.
- AU answered back with two runs of their own in the fifth on Chambers and Biggs sac-fly's.
- In the bottom of the sixth, the Raiders would scratch across one run to trail 5-4.
- The top of the seventh saw the AU offense explode for four runs, starting with a Biggs RBI single.
- The Spartans put down another suicide squeeze later in the inning with
Casey Brennan at the plate, allowing Biggs to come across and give AU a 7-4 lead.
- A
Jordan Seyfried RBI single and
Alyson Haegele sac-fly capped off the four run seventh for the Spartans, giving them a 9-4 lead.

Madelyn Buske would retire the Raiders in order in the seventh to finish with a complete game and guide AU to the 9-4 victory.
