The Aurora University baseball team took their win-streak to six games on Saturday afternoon, beating Concordia University Wisconsin in both games of a doubleheader at Jim Schmid Field. The Spartans took game one by a score of 9-4 behind a strong offensive performance throughout the whole lineup, before beating the Falcons 12-2 in game two. (7 inn.)

Game One:
- AU wasted no time grabbing a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning with a two-run double from
Logan Riley and RBI single from
Nik Panico.
- In the bottom of the second,
Joe Lukancic roped a double down the left field line that scored
Spencer Ruch.
- The Spartans took a 5-0 lead a batter later when
Derek Angelo singled.
- After a Riley RBI ground out later in the inning, AU held a 6-0 lead going into the third inning.

Nico Bermeo laced an RBI single up the middle in the fourth inning that made it 7-0 in favor of the Spartans.
- After AU starter
Justin Zimmerman threw three scoreless innings, the Falcons scored two runs in the top of the fourth.
- Panico smacked a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth, giving the Spartans an 8-2 lead.
- Bermeo scored on a wild pitch in the sixth for a 9-2 AU advantage.Â
- The Falcons scored two more runs in the seventh, but it was not nearly enough in the 9-4 Spartan victory.
- Zimmerman finished with 5.2 innings pitched and two earned runs.
Game Two:
- Like game one, AU got on the board in the first inning off an Angelo RBI double.

Tyler Patton smoked a triple down line in the second inning for a 2-0 AU lead.
- After a
Sean Rivera run scoring ground out, Bermeo launched a ball over the left field wall for a 4-0 Spartan advantage.Â
- Riley doubled home Angelo in the third for AU's fifth run of the game.
- AU made it 7-0 in the fourth on a Bermeo single and Angelo sac-fly.
- Later in the fourth, Riley doubled and
Dominick Curcio singled back up the middle making the score 10-0.
- AU starter
Jack Fisher did not run into any trouble until the top of the fifth when the Falcons scratched across one run.Â
- The Spartans re-took their double digit lead with a Lukancic RBI single.
- CUC scored one run in the sixth, but an RBI single from Riley in the seventh gave AU the 12-2 victory in seven innings.
