The Aurora University women's lacrosse team led by record setting performances from Danielle Cobbett and Brianna Peck defeated the visiting Sabres of Marian University 21-4 on Wednesday afternoon in the semi-final round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament. Peck surpassed 100 goals in her career while Cobbett is rewriting the single season record book for points in a season for AU and the NACC with her 105 on the season.

- Spartan Danielle Cobbett would score a point on 11 of the first 15 AU goals in the game.
- AU jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead behind goals from Kenly Axvig and Caley Russell.
- Cobbett then tallied a goal after assisting on the first two goals with Russell assisting on her tally.
- Wth 10:21 left in the first quarter, Brianna Peck scored her 100th career goal with an assist from Cobbett.
- Axvig and Kielly Reeve rounded out the first quarter goal scorers as AU led 6-2.
- The Spartans blitzed the Sabres in the second, out-scoring the visitors 8-1 in the frame and getting the running clock started with 2:15 remaining.
- The second-half was all Spartans as they scored five times in the third to lead 19-3 going to the fourth.
- Axvig and Russell each added their third of the game while Reeve, Peck and Syd Mann added goals as well.
- Early in the fourth, Peck scored her sixth of the game with an assist from Cobbett.
- The assist game Cobbett 12 points on the day and her 105th of the season which set a new AU and NACC record for points in a season.
- Grace Pelletier added a final AU goal for the 21-4 final score.
