Aurora University women's lacrosse attack
Danielle Cobbett was recognized for her combined efforts in the classroom and on the field today when the College Sports Communicators (CSC - formerly CoSIDA) announced the members of the 2024 At-Large Academic All-America teams.
The CSC Academic All-America® honor is chosen based off the student-athletes combined prowess on the field and in the classroom is the latest achievement. Cobbett becomes the 47th Spartan student-athlete and second from the AU women's lacrosse program to be named a CSC/CoSIDA Academic All-America.
The Academic All-America honor for Cobbett adds to her 2024 season in which she was previously named an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Second-Team All-Region performer.
Cobbett was named the 2024 NACC Offensive Player of the Year and finished 2024 with a NACC and AU record 107 points on 44 goals and 63 assists while connecting on four game-winning goals.
The Aurora University women's lacrosse team concludes the 2024 season with a 12-7 overall record and won the NACC regular season and tournament titles.
