The Aurora University women's soccer team took to the road after picking up their first victory of the 2024 season earlier this week over Elmhurst University 4-0. On Saturday evening the Spartans squared off against Webster University and fell 2-0 in St. Louis.

- Webster applied pressure early on the AU defense, but Spartan goalie Lindsey Cepa picked up a save just under two minutes into the match.
- The Gorloks put two more shots on goal in the 41st and 42nd minute, but Cepa was there each time for the stop.
- The hosts did get on the board right before the halftime buzzer, giving AU a 1-0 deficit going into the second half.
- In the 62nd minute, the Spartans would go down 2-0.
- Sidny Wilcox made a bid for a goal in the 73rd minute, but was unable to find the back of the net.
- AU would end up falling in the match by a score of 2-0.
