The Aurora University men's soccer team took to the Spartan Athletic Park pitch on Sunday afternoon, looking for another victory in their last regular season match before they begin Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play next Wednesday night. Despite two goals from
Branden Dolezal, the Spartans fell to the University of Chicago by a score of 4-2.

- The Maroons scored the match's first goal just over three minutes in.
- AU answered right back in the 18th minute when
Jaziel Enriquez bombed one down the pitch that allowed
Branden Dolezal to find some space and the back of the net. This tied the score at one.
- 13 seconds later, AU suffered a 2-1 deficit.
- That deficit would increase to 4-1 before the halftime break after the Maroons scored a goal in the 32nd and 38th minute.
- The Spartans applied pressure early in the second half and Dolezal scored his second goal of the game just two minutes in.
David Peters and
Josue Roman were credited with assists on the play that cut the Maroons lead to two.
- AU was unable to get a shot on goal the rest of the half and fell by a score of 4-2.
