The Aurora University women's volleyball team played in another tri-match on Saturday afternoon, this one in Platteville, Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin Platteville, with Gustavus Adolphus College and the host Pioneers. The Spartans defeated No. 17 Gustavus Adolphus 3-0 in the first match before losing to Platteville 3-1.

MATCH ONE
- The Spartans used timely offense and took advantage of Gustavus errors to win the opening set 25-16.
- Lulu Torres and Lilly Vance each had four kills in the first set win.
- The second set was tightly played throughout with the largest lead being a three-point AU lead at 15-12.
- AU out-hit Gustavus in the second set .302 to .237 with 20 kills being spread among Kate Dillon (six), Kate Poellmann (five, Torres (five) and Vance (four).
- The Spartans rolled out to a big lead and led 18-13 but had to hang on as the final points of the third set came in.
- An Erin Henkel kill ended the match with a 25-22 AU win.
- Setters Hannah Joseph and Trinity Nelson spread the ball around as six Spartans collected a kill in the set win.

MATCH TWO
- The Spartans trailed early in the first set but stormed back and held on to win 25-23 against the host Pioneers.
- Seven Spartans collected a kill in the set win.
- The second set had the Spartans lead early, fall behind but then rally to lead late at 23-22 on a Riley Moreno kill.
- The hosts would score the last three points though and AU fell 25-23.
- AU dropped the third set 25-19 and had a battle to come from behind to win the match.
- Kate Dillon led AU with six kills in the third set.
- The fourth set would see the score tied 12 times and four lead changes between AU and Platteville.
- Platteville scored the last six points to defeat AU 25-22.
