The Aurora University women's soccer team continued their three-game home stand start the season on Wednesday evening when they took the Spartan Athletic Park pitch, looking to get their first win of 2024 when they took on Lake Forest College. AU fell behind early and was never able to overcome the deficit in the 3-0 loss to the Foresters.

- The game's first shot on goal came 11:34 into the game, as Lindsey Cepa made a leaping save for AU.
- Madison Hougan sifted in between a couple of Lake Forest defenders and put a shot on goal at the 18 minute mark of the first half, but was unable to find the back of the net.
- A minute past the halfway point of the first half, the Foresters took a 1-0 lead.

- Melina Cane took over in goal for the Spartans and picked up a couple of saves early in the second half.
- At the 67:13 point in the match, AU suffered a 2-0 deficit.
- Two and a half minutes later, Lake Forest took a 3-0 advantage.
- The Foresters saw a penalty kick in the 75th minute, but Cane layed out to make a couple of terrific saves.
- AU saw an opportunity to get on the board in the final minute off a corner kick, but was unable to convert.
- This resulted in a 3-0 loss for the Spartans.
