The Aurora University women's basketball team returned home to Thornton Gymnasium and hosted the Eagles of Benedictine University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The Spartans overcame a slow start to run past the Eagles 81-72.

- The Spartans trailed BU 15-4 with 2:26 left in the first quarter.
- Sparked by quality minutes from Elizabeth Groswold the Spartans finished the first on a 9-2 run.
- Heading to the second, AU trailed 17-13.
- Down six at 22-16, the Spartans kicked off another run.
- A 10-3 run was capped on a three from Alina Anderson and AU led for the first time 26-25.
- The Spartans continued to stay hot and built the lead to nine at 36-27 with 1:25 on the clock. 
- Kylie Fischbach had 12 points in the second to lead the Spartans.
- The third saw Krystyna Manzanarez take over with seven points and the Spartans turned up the defense.
- AU led by as many as 15 on multiple occasions before taking a 13 point lead (60-47) into the fourth.
- The fourth quarter lead for AU hung around 10-points as the long time rivals battled back and forth.
- AU hung on to knock off the Eagles 81-72.
