The Aurora University Spartan football team returned to the gridiron after a bye week, traveling to Wisconsin Lutheran College. The Spartans continued to travel on the field, grinding out 397 yards on the ground on 50 carries as 
TJ Ramsey and 
Liam Mickle each finished with over 175 yards rushing.

- The Spartans took the opening drive and went 77 yards in 13-plays with only four coming on the ground. The final carry for two-yards from 
Liam Mickle resulted in an AU 7-0 lead.
- On the second play of the WLC drive, Spartan 
Ty Hopp intercepted a pass to give AU the ball back immediately.
- After the offense stalled, a 44-yard field goal attempt was blocked.
- WLC took the momentum and tied the score 7-7 just before the first quarter ended.
- On the second play of the second quarter, Mickle found 
Ethan Svoboda on a nine-yard touchdown pass and AU led 14-7.
- The teams traded punts, a missed WLC field goal before the Spartans would punt from their own end zone. 
- WLC blocked the punt and recovered in the end zone to tie the score 14-14.
- That is when AU turned to their run game, getting 56 yards of the 67 on the drive with 
TJ Ramsey scoring from 16-yards out for a 21-14 lead.
- The Spartans defense got the offense the ball back with Braeden Hellinger forcing and recovering a WLC fumble at the Warrior 36.
- After two incompletions, Mickle scampered 36-yards for his second running score of the game to give AU a 28-14 lead.
- The teams traded possessions to start the third, WLC scored on a long touchdown pass to cut the Spartan lead to 28-21.
- Ramsey and Mickle gashed the Warriors on the ground on the next AU possession before Mickle hit 
Connor Bright for a score and a 35-21 AU lead.
- With AU leading by 14 going to the fourth, Mickle had a Warrior defender step in front of a pass to Ramsey with WLC scoring one play later.
- The fourth was off to a wild start and was just getting started.
- Mickle pushed AU's lead back to 14 wen he scored on a 55-yard run (42-28).
- WLC then went 80-yards in eight plays to score but missed the PAT.
- The Spartans then rushed eight times for 70 yards to cap off a nine-play 72 yard drive with Mickle's fourth score of the day.
- Leading 49-34, AU saw WLC score and convert a two-point try with just under two minutes left in the game.
- AU was able to run out the final 1:54 of the clock and secure a 49-42 victory.
