The Aurora University men's basketball team traveled a few minutes east to take on North Central College in a non-conference match. The Spartans would take the win, 65-55, on the back of a 19 point, and 4 steals performance from junior Gevon Grant.

- AU would start out slow, going down 13-5 in the first ten minutes.
- A two minute 8-0  run for the Spartans would tie the game at 13.
- The rest of the half would be a back-and-forth fight, with the Spartans coming out ahead 28-26 going into halftime. 
- Spartan Junior Gevon Grant would lead AU with 12 points and 4 rebounds going into the half.
- Aurora would come out strong in the 2nd half, managing a quick seven point lead through the first four minutes. 
- They would never give up the lead in the second half, going up as much as 10 points on multiply occasions. 
- Aurora would win with a final of 65-55.
