The Aurora University women's hockey team returned to the ice for game two of their NCHA series, but came up short on Saturday, falling 7–1 on the road in Adrian.

- After the home team opened with four goals in the first period, the Spartans tightened up defensively and put together their strongest stretch in the middle frame.
-Aurora broke through at 6:25 of the second period when Abbey Mazzella netted her first of the season off a feed from Brylee Kafka, cutting the deficit to 4–1.
-The Spartans generated eight shots in the period and created several quality chances both at even strength and on the power play.
-Despite the push, the home team added three goals in the third period to close out the scoring.
-In net, Zoie Campbell turned aside 35 shots while facing steady pressure throughout the afternoon.
