Aurora University senior forward Alina Anderson was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Anderson earned the honor after she led Aurora to an 89-65 win over Knox to open the Spartans' 2025-26 home slate. She scored 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting and had 14 rebounds while also posting four steals, two blocked shots, and two assists.

Next action for the Spartan women's basketball team comes on Tuesday, November 25 when they host Judson University. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m. In Thornton Gymnasium.
