The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced its 3 Stars of the Week. AU Spartan men's hockey goalie Matt O'Donnell was named one of the three stars of the week.

O'Donnell earned the recognition after he was instrumental in backstopping the undefeated Spartans to a pivotal sweep over rival No. 2 Adrian. He stopped 61-of-65 shots across two contests for a combined save percentage of .938. After making 33 saves in Friday's 6-4 victory, O'Donnell put up a wall on Saturday, turning aside all 28 shots he faced to earn the shutout in a 1-0 overtime victory that sealed the series sweep in a matchup of top-5 teams.

Next scheduled action for the Spartan men's hockey team comes on Friday, November 21 when they host St. Norbert College. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva, Illinois.
