The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced its 3 Stars of the Week. AU Spartan men's hockey defenseman Simon Diaz was named one of the three stars of the week.

Diaz earned the recognition after he helped the Spartans to a split at home against No. 3 St. Norbert. The defenseman picked up a pair of assists in Friday night's shutout victory before scoring a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-3 loss.

Next scheduled action for the Spartan men's hockey team comes on Friday, December 5 when they travel to Lawrence University. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Appleton, Wisconsin.
