Aurora University football student-athlete Liam Mickle was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week as selected by a panel of the NACC Athletic Communication professionals.

Mickle earned the honor after he accounted for six of Aurora's seven touchdowns in the Spartans' 49-42 win over Wisconsin Lutheran. He rushed 15 times for 176 yards and four touchdowns. Through the air, he was 18-of-34 for 150 yards and two more scores.

Next action for the Spartan football team comes on Saturday, November 8 when they host St. Norbert College. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. at Spartan Athletic Park in Montgomery, Illinois.
