Aurora University men's hockey closed out the weekend with a dominant 7–1 victory on Sunday afternoon, using a four-goal third period to pull away and remain unbeaten.

- Aurora struck first in the opening period, breaking the scoreless tie with 14 seconds left before intermission when Hassan Akl knocked in the rebound.
- The momentum carried into the second period, where Jake Code converted on the power play at 3:30 to make it 2–0.
- Lake Forest briefly cut the deficit to one midway through the second, but the Spartans answered quickly.
- At 15:28, Jaden Davis finished a feed from Roc Truman to restore a two-goal lead heading into the second intermission.
- The Spartans dominated the third period from the opening face-off. Conor Ronayne scored unassisted just 1:05 into the frame, and Davis added his second goal of the night at 2:16 to extend the lead.
- Chayce Schmidt tacked on a power-play goal at 12:02, and Lukas Sedlacek closed the scoring late in the period to make it 7–1.
- Aurora controlled the stat sheet, out-shooting its opponent 44–24 and winning 45 of 72 face-offs.
- Goaltender Bodee Weiss stopped 23 of 24 shots to earn the win.
