The Aurora University men's basketball team traveled to Concordia Chicago on Wednesday night and overcame the host Cougars 78-73.

- The first-half was a battle with the Cougars and on a three from Cullen Rauls tied the game 15-15.
- Just over midway through the half, AU led 21-20 after a Devon Richardson lay-up.
- AU closed the half on a 15-5 run and led 40-34.
- A 12-4 AU run to start the second-half moved AU ahead by 14 (52-38).
- Jeffery Hillmer had six points in the run.
- The Spartans then had to withstand a 13-0 CUC run that saw AU lead by one (54-53).
- After not giving up the lead, the Spartans built back a nine-point lead.
- Mekhi Doby led the AU attack in the second-half.
- AU won 78-73.
