The Aurora University men's basketball team hosted the Muskies of Lakeland University on Wednesday night in Thornton Gymnasium. The Spartans had 14 players score in the conest led by a career hight 22 from Isaiah Davis and 22 from Joevonn McCottry as the Spartans rolled the Muskies 109-60.

- The Spartans led for 39:17 of the game with a Mekhi Doby basket getting the AU offense rolling.
- A second straight three-point field goal from Isaiah Davis with 16:00  left in the first-half forced a Lakeland timeout with the Spartans up 16-2.
- A few minutes later after Lakeland cut the AU lead down to seven, Davis ran off five straight points to push the lead back to double digits.
- The Spartans then ran off a 19-3 run with seven points from Joevonn McCottry.
- The AU lead reached 30 on a Davis three and the largest lead of the first-half at 31 with 35 seconds left on a McCottry layup.
- Heading to halftime, AU led 55-27.
- AU opened the second-half on a 13-0 run and led by 41 with 16:40 left in the game.
- The Spartans turned to the bench in the second-half and the lead continued to grow to as large as 50.. 
- Baskets from Jordan Schroeder, BJ Harris, Alex Ross, Luis Mur Martin, Savion Brown and Treval Howard had the home crowd in a frenzy.
- The Spartans would knock off the Muskies 109-60 when the final horn sounded.
