The Aurora University women's hockey team saw the 2024-2025 season come t an end in the first round of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association League Playoffs on Saturday night at Lake Forest College. AU fell 4-1 in game two before falling 2-0 in the mini game.

- AU opened up the games scoring 3:37 into the second Slaats Cup game.
- Mackenna Brownlee scored with an assist from Reilly O'Brien.
- The Spartans would maintain the 1-0 lead going to the first intermission.
- Lake Forest scored 32 seconds into the second period and the score remained 1-1 going to the third period.
- In the third, LFC scored three times for the 4-1 final score and forced the winner take all mini-game.
- The mini-game saw Spartan goalie Shelbi Duster make numerous big saves before the home team managed to take the lead 1-0 midway through.
- AU would drop the mini-game 2-0.
