The Aurora University women's hockey team hosted Milwaukee School of Engineering on Friday night for AU's senior night, as the program honored seven different seniors before the contest including Peyton Elliott, Ellie Visser, Liza Davies, Olivia Buzzelli, Makenna Brownlee, Anabelle Scriver and Shelbi Duster. With the score tied at one heading into overtime, Elliott found herself all alone with the Raiders goalie and sent the Spartans to the 2-1 victory.

Ellie Visser sifted her way through a couple of Raider defenders and sniped one into the back of the net, giving AU the early 1-0 lead.

- AU later fought off a couple of MSOE power plays late in the first to keep their one goal advantage heading into the first intermission.
- At the 14:57 mark in the second period, the Raiders scored a power play goal to tie the score at one.
- The Spartans secured a power play themselves near the end of the second, but just missed putting themselves on top 2-1.
- This kept the score knotted at one heading into the second intermission.
- AU got to two more 5v4 advantages during the third period, but were unable to score their second goal.
- The third period would end with each side at one goal apiece, sending the game into a five minute overtime period.
- Just over a minute into the overtime period,
Peyton Elliott secured the puck on a breakaway and sniped one past the goalie for the game-winner.
- The senior Elliott would give the Spartans the 2-1 victory over the Raiders.
