The Aurora University men's lacrosse team played their second-straight home game on Wednesday night at a wet Spartan Athletic Park, as AU took on the Falcons of Concordia University Wisconsin.
Rielan Pura finished with seven points on the night on five assists and two goals, while
Tyler Foerstel also led the Spartans with four goals of his own to help give AU the 13-5 victory over the Falcons.

- AU hardly wasted any time getting out to an early lead, with three goals within the first three minutes of the contest.
- Connor Bolton scored the first goal off an assist from
Rielan Pura, while
Tyler Foerstel notched the next two goals for AU.
- Foerstel was also assisted by Pura to give the Spartans the early 3-0 lead.
- At 5:13 in the first, that lead stretched to 4-0 for AU after Pura scored a goal of his own.
- CUW scored two goals later in the first to cut the Spartan lead to 4-2, before Pura found
Owen Spencer for another AU goal to make it 5-2 going into the second quarter of play.
- Spencer picked up right where he left off in the first with an unassisted goal early in the second to make it 6-2 in favor of the Spartans.
- At 13:53, the Falcons scored to cut the AU lead to 6-3.
- Nearing the midpoint of the second,
Griffin Joas got in on the scoring fun off an assist from Pura, while Foerstel ripped another one into the back of net.
- At 4:57 in the second,
Chris Bucci found the back of the net off of Pura's fifth assist.
- CUW scored at 4:18 in the second to cut the AU lead to 9-4, before
Owen Spencer sifted around a couple of Falcon defenders to make it 10-4 in favor of AU the Spartans going into the halftime break.
- No goals were scored in the third, as AU goalie
Asher Deputy came up with five saves in the quarter.
- AU broke that scoreless drought with three goals in the third, as Foerstel, Pura, and
Owen Meyer each scored.
- Despite a goal from CUW with just over a minute remaining, the Spartans would end up taking the 13-5 victory.
- Deputy finished with 16 saves, while AU out-shot the Falcons 45-37 in the contest.
