The Aurora University baseball team battled windy conditions and the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors in a 28-18 game one win that saw Dominicak Curcio set new AU single game records for hits, runs scored and triples. AU would then fall in game two 11-9.

Game One

Dominick Curcio started his incredible game off with a triple in the first but was left stranded.
- AU tied the score in the second 1-1 but would trail 2-1 after two.
- Curcio led off the third with his second triple in as many at bats to ignite a three run inning for a 4-2 AU lead.
- Three AU errors saw WLC score five runs and take a 7-4 lead.
- But in the story of the game, the Spartans kept scoring as well, plating four runs to take an 8-7 lead.
- With two outs in the fifth, Curcio reached on a single and for the fourth time in as many at bats. His single started a two run inning and gave AU a 10-7 lead.
- WLC scored three times in the bottom of the inning for a 10-10 game.
- In the sixth, the Spartans batted around without an out being made and when the inning was over, 11 runs were scored while Curcio hit his record setting third triple of the game.
- WLC was not done though, scoring seven times in the sixth and seventh to make the score 21-17.
- In the eighth the Spartans would bat around for a second time in the game with Curcio hitting a three-run home run with the hit and run being the sixth of each, both new AU single game records.
- The Spartans would win 28-18 in eight long innings.
Game Two
- AU started where they left off in game one, scoring twice in the first.
- The lead lasted into the second when WLC tied the game 2-2.
- In the third,
Ryan Buck tripled in two runs and scored to give AU a 5-2 lead.
- Buck drove in another run in the fourth and AU led 6-3.
- AU starter
Brandon Todd allowed two runs in the fifth but left the game after five innings of work leading 6-5.
- Three walks, two hit batsmen and a grand slam in the sixth saw AU take an 11-6 lead.
- AU got a run back in the seventh but left the bases loaded trailing 11-7.

Adrian Ruiz and struck out the side in the seventh.
- AU added two runs in the eighth with a
