The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced the 2024-2025 women's basketball All-Conference awards on Wednesday afternoon. Spartan freshman guard
Krystyna Manzanarez earned the top honor for newcomers with being named the NACC Freshman of the Year. Manzanarez was also selected as a First-Team All-Conference player while teammates
Riley Doggett (Second-Team) and
Kylie Fischbach (Honorable Mention) were also recognized on the NACC postseason awards list.
Manzanarez earned the NACC Freshman of the Year and First-Team All-Conference recognition after she played in all 25 games for AU this season, averaging 13.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while helping lead the Spartans to the No. 4 seed in the NACC Tournament. She ranked third amongst NACC players in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.27) and fourth in field goal percentage (.437).
Manzanarez scored in double figures 19 times, scoring a season-high 23 points against both Beloit in mid-November and Benedictine in a NACC Tournament quarterfinal game. She came close to a pair of double-doubles, pulling down nine rebounds against Concordia Chicago in mid-February and Wisconsin Lutheran in early December.
She is the third Aurora student-athlete to be named NACC Freshman of the Year.
Doggett earned the NACC All-Conference selection for the first time in her career after she averaged 10.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting 42.2-percent from the field and 33.6-percent from three on the season.
Fischbach was selected as NACC Honorable Mention All-Conference after averaging 10.2 points with 4.0 rebounds per game. She shot 41.7-percent from the field.
The AU women finished the 2024-2025 season with a 17-8 overall record and went 11-5 in the NACC.
