The Aurora University baseball team saw the offense erupt for 19 runs in the final three innings at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational against Allegheny College. The Spartans trailed 2-0 after five innings and scored 19 in the final three to run-rule Allegheny in a 19-7 win.

- Allegheny got solo home runs in the second and fifth to lead AU 2-0.
- AU threatened with multiple runners in scoring position in the first five innings but were unable to push across a run until the sixth.
- In the sixth, Joe Lukancic drove in a pair to tie the game with a two-out single.
- AU starter Justin Zimmerman reached double-digits in strikeouts in the bottom of the sixth, eventually finishing with 12 on the day.
- In the seventh the Spartan offense blew the game wide open.
- Four hits including a pair from Jaden Holgado in the inning along with four walks and a hit batsman, AU put up a nine spot.
- Holgado led off the inning with a pinch hit single and when he returned to the plate a second time in the inning with the bases loaded and one out, he delivered the crushing grand slam.
- After 6-1/2 innings, AU led 11-2.
- In the eighth, the Spartans would score eight more runs on just three hits with all three driving in runs. 
- Julian Rosales had the second grand slam of the day for AU, Logan Riley drove in a run on a double and Dominick Curcio cleared the bases with a three-run double.
- The Spartans would go on to win the mercy shortened contest 19-7.
