Janiak wins National Championship and All-American honors at NCWWC Championship

History was set for Aurora University on Saturday evening as Spartan Alexis Janiak reached where no AU female student-athlete had before, a National Champion. Janiak did it in clutch form, winning her final two matches by two point decisions and going a perfect 5-0 at the 2024-2025 NCWWC National Championship Tournament hosted in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. AU finished with 32.5 team points, a 13th place finish and was the fifth highest finisher among NCAA Division III programs.
