The Aurora University baseball team traveled to Dominican University on Wednesday afternoon, as the Spartans continue their NACC schedule with a doubleheader against the Stars. AU trailed 9-6 entering the ninth inning of game one, before roaring back for an 11-9 win also led by two Kyle Mack home runs and four RBI's by Matthew Washington. The Spartans then took game two by a score of 15-6 to pickup the sweep over the Stars.

Game One
- It was AU that grabbed an early lead in the top-of-the-first, as
Kyle Mack singled in
Joe Lukancic.

Nick Czarnecki then singled in
Dominick Curcio to make it 2-0.
- The Spartans extended that to 3-0 in the second when
Spencer Ruch scored on a Lukancic ground out.
- Mack led-off the third with a solo shot, making it 4-0 in favor of the Spartans.
- Dominican stormed back for six runs in their half of the third to take a 6-4 lead.
- In the bottom-of-the-fourth, the Stars made that 7-4.

Matthew Washington ripped a two-run double in the fifth to scors Czarnecki and Mack and cut into the Stars lead at 7-6.
- Dominican got those two runs back in the bottom half of the fifth to extend it back to 9-6.
- That 9-6 score held until the top-of-the-ninth, when Mack led-off another inning by clubbing a home run.
- Czarnecki came around to score on a Stars error, before another Washington two-run double gave AU the 10-9 lead in the ninth.
- Wasnington later scored on a Lukancic RBI single to make it 11-9 for AU.
- Despite giving up a run in the ninth,
Justin Zimmerman picked up two key outs while stranding a runner on third to give AU the 11-10 victory.

Logan Riley two-run double and
Brayden Gorecki sac-fly gave AU a 4-0 lead.
- Dominican answered back with three runs in their half of the first.

Ryan Buck single and Czarnecki sac-fly gave AU an 8-3 lead.'
- In the top-of-the-third,
Spencer Ruch stretched that lead to 9-3 with an RBI single.

Matthew Washington picked up an RBI with a sac-fly in the fourth, giving AU a 10-3 lead.
- Dominican scored two runs to make it 10-5 after four innings of play.
- Riley continued his strong day with a two run single before two more Spartans runners came around to score in the fifth to give AU a 14-5 lead.
- Despite two runs in the seventh from the Stars, AU coasted to the 15-6 victory.
