The Aurora University softball team celebrated Senior Day with a doubleheader sweep of Rockford on Sunday at Bedrosian Stadium, winning 8–0 and 3–2. Katelyn Serafin threw a one-hitter and Lily Komperda delivered a walk-off home run in game one, while Madelyn Buske and Rylee Campbell combined to lead AU to victory in game two. With the sweep, the Spartans improved to 22–14 overall and 12–8 in NACC play and clinched a spot in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament.

Game One
- After a scoreless top of the first, AU struck first in the bottom of the first when Stephani DeBise delivered a sacrifice fly to score Faith Biggs and give AU a 1–0 lead.  
- An RBI single from Carly Clemens and another RBI single from Kelsey Oviatt extended the AU lead to 3–0 after one inning.  
- The Spartans added to their lead in the bottom of the second, starting with an RBI groundout from Nina Richards to make it 4–0.  
- Stephani DeBise followed with an RBI single to right field, scoring Faith Biggs to push the lead to 5–0.  
- Carly Clemens capped the second inning with her second RBI single of the game, driving home Reese Pozen to give AU a 6–0 advantage.  
- Katelyn Serafin continued her dominant day in the circle, holding Rockford without a hit through the first three innings.  
- In the bottom of the fifth, Kelsey Oviatt led off with a double to left field, setting up the Spartans final push.  
- After a sacrifice bunt moved the runner to third, Lily Komperda launched a two-run in the park home run to right field, scoring pinch-runner Madison Lung and walking it off for an 8–0 run-rule victory.  
- Serafin threw a complete game one-hitter, striking out six and walking two, to earn her 12th win of the season.  

Game Two
- After two scoreless innings, AU broke through in the bottom of the third when Faith Biggs tripled down the left-field line and scored on a single from Nina Richards to give AU a 1–0 lead.  
- Richards came around to score after a Rockford error on the same play, pushing the Spartan lead to 2–0.  
- Both teams were held quiet through the fourth inning as Madelyn Buske continued to cruise in the circle for AU.  
- Rockford cut into the lead in the top of the fifth with an unearned run after an error, making it 2–1.  
- In the bottom of the sixth, AU took advantage of a Rockford error and an RBI single from Mia Malczyk to extend the lead to 3–1.  
- Rylee Campbell entered the game to close it out in the seventh and recorded the final three outs to earn her second save of the season.  
- Rockford hit a solo home run in the top of the seventh to make it 3–2, but Campbell shut the door to preserve the Spartan victory.  
- Madeyln Buske picked up the win, tossing 6.0 innings, allowing just one unearned run on six hits while striking out one.  
- Faith Biggs led the Spartan offense, going 3-for-3 with a triple, two stolen bases, and a run scored.
