The Aurora University softball team traveled to Concordia University Chicago on Wednesday afternoon for another Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference doubleheader, with the Spartans looking to stay undefeated in the NACC after taking two from Wisconsin Lutheran College last Saturday. AU did win game one over the Cougars 12-2 backed by three RBI's each from Cassidy Wydra and Nina Richards, but fell in game two 7-1.

Game One
- AU's offense exploded for four runs in the top-of-the first, starting with a Faith Biggs RBI single.
- Nina Richards hit an RBI single of her own, before a Stephani DeBise sac-fly later in the first gave the Spartans a 3-0 lead.
- Carly Clemens extended that lead to 4-0 with an RBI single in the first.
- In the bottom-of-the fourth, CUC scratched across two runs to trim their deficit to 4-2.
- AU got those two runs back in their half of the sixth with a Cassidy Wydra two-run single.
- The Spartans started another rally in the seventh and made it 7-2 when Alex Thiel roped an RBI single.
- Aubrey Ortiz collected a two-run single later in the seventh, before a Wydra run scoring double made it 10-2 in favor of AU.
'- Richards picked up a couple of more RBI's with another two-run single for the Spartans.
- Madelyn Buske finished off the Cougars after taking over in the circle in the seventh for Katelyn Serafin, who gave up only two runs in her six innings pitched.

Game Two
- CUC scored one in the bottom-of-the first to take an early 1-0 lead.
- Two more runs from the Cougars in the second gave them a 3-0 lead.
- In the top-of-the fourth, Carly Clemens lifted one to right for a sac-fly that scored Nina Richards and cut the Spartan deficit to 4-1.
- One run from CUC in their half of the fifth followed by two more in the sixth helped them coast to a 7-1 victory over the Spartans.
