The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced the 2025 All-Conference Team and postseason awards on Thursday, May 1. A pair of AU freshmen dominated the postseason honors capturing the NACC Goalkeeper and Freshman of the Year awards. Additionally, AU earned five first team, two second team, and two honorable mention All-Conference selections.
Freshman goalkeeper
Rachel Wickey was named the NACC Goalkeeper of the Year and freshman midfielder
Olivia Dahlberg was named the NACC Freshman of the Year and both were named First-Team All-Conference.
Goalkeeper of the Year - Rachel Wickey, Fr., Goalie
Wickey played in all 18 games for the Spartans this season, starting 13. In just over 630 minutes, she posted a 9.713 goals-against average while making 103 saves on 205 shots on goal for a .502 save percentage.
Wickey posted double figures in saves on three occasions, including a season-high 17 against UW-La Crosse. This is the first year the NACC has recognized a Goalkeeper of the Year.
Freshman of the Year - Olivia Dahlberg, Midfielder
Dahlberg started all 18 games for the Spartans this season, quickly adjusting to the pace of the college game. She finished the season with 46 points on 38 goals and eight assists while converting on 10 of 21 free-position shots. Dahlberg also scooped 42 ground balls, caused 21 turnovers and had 50 draw controls.
Dahlberg scored at least one goal in 16 of 18 games, posting a season-best five points on four goals and an assist against both MSOE and Lawrence. She also scored four times - including twice on free-position shots - in a win over Concordia Wisconsin. Dahlberg also had five caused turnovers and four draw controls against the Falcons.
An all-around contributor, she led all Aurora players this season in ground balls, ranked second in draw controls, and third in caused turnovers, goals, and points. She is the first time an Aurora student-athlete has been named NACC Women's Lacrosse Freshman of the Year.
First-Team All-Conference
Joining Wickey and Dahlberg to earn First-Team All-Conference recognition were seniors
Kenly Axvig,
Brianna Peck and
Caley Russell. Axvig led the Spartans with 46 goals while adding 15 assists on the season and won 56 draw controls. Peck had 37 goals and six assists with 41 draw controls in 14 games played in 2025 while Russell led AU in scoring with 62 points on 43 goals and 19 assists.

Sarah Brown.
