The Aurora University softball team played their final NACC doubleheader of the 2025 regular season at Lakeland University, a dubleheader that was originally scheduled for March. AU split with the Muskies, losing game one 7-1 before rebounding to win 7-3 in game two.

Game One
- Lakeland jumped out to an early 5-0 lead with six hits in the first inning.
- Lakeland added one run in the second.
- AU got on the board in the fifth inning with Kelsey Oviatt doubling and her pinch runner Sydney Helgerson scoring on an Arianna Anderson single.
- The final run came in the bottom of the fifth as Lakeland defeated AU 7-1.

Game Two
- A triple from Lily Komperda in the third with one out allowed her to score the first AU run and lead 1-0.
- Lakeland tied the game with a run in the bottom of the third.
- Heading to the sixth, the game remained 1-1.
- A two-out single from Komperda in the sixth plated two and AU led 3-1.
- The Komperda single was the fourth single in the inning for the Spartans.
- More two out hitting allowed the Spartans to score four more runs in the seventh.
- Komperda drove in two for her third and fourth runs batted in in the contest.
- Lakeland scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh but AU slammed the door for the 7-3 victory.
