Aurora University men's golf senior Braeden Duncan received top academic recognition today when the College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their 2025 Academic All-America® at-large teams.

Duncan has been no stranger to postseason honors having previously been named the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Elite 90 winner each of the last three seasons, a Golf Coaches Association of America All-Region selection and now adds a First-Team Academic All-America® honor to his 2024-2025 accolades.

Duncan becomes the 52nd Spartan to earn CSC (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-America recognition and the first AU men's golf student-athlete to earn First-Team recognition and third men's golfer to receive the honor overall..

He was also selected as the 2024-2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference All-Conference recipient, a fourth consecutive season with that honor.

The 2024-2025 Spartans set a new program standard with a ninth place finish at the 2025 Championship event with a four-round score of 1,195. The Spartans won their eighth straight Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship while making a seventh straight NCAA Championship appearance which resulted in a program best finish.
