The Aurora University men's soccer team will enter the 2025 season being picked to finish fourth in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) preseason poll, receiving 274 points and one first-place vote. The point total was a tie among three programs while the Spartans received the most first-place votes.

AU enters the 2025 season coming off a 2024 campaign that saw them share for a tie for third in the NACC with an 11-6-4 overall record and went 8-2-2 in the NACC.
 
The NACC's regular season standings determine the teams that qualify for the eight-team conference tournament, while the tournament champion receives the league's automatic bid to the NCAA III Championship Tournament.

The Spartan men's soccer team opens the 2025 season on Friday, August 29 when they travel to Elmhurst University for a 7:00 p.m. kick-off.
